Oprah Has Chosen Her 100th Book Club Pick

Earlier today, Oprah announced her milestone 100th book club pick on CBS Mornings. The new selection is Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano. “I’m telling you,” Oprah says of her pick, “once you start, you won’t want it to end…and be prepared for tears.” Inspired by the classic novel Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, Hello Beautiful is the story of four sisters living in Pilson, a working-class neighborhood of Chicago. “I’m pretty sure I’m still in shock,” Napolitano said in response to being chosen for Oprah’s Book Club. “[Oprah] has done so much to amplify authors and their work. The writers and books she has featured in her club reads like a list of my literary heroes, and to be included among them is an unbelievable honor.” In the coming weeks, Oprah Daily invites readers to join in on the book club for a special discussion of Hello Beautiful on the website, InstagramFacebook, and thei newly launched TikTok.
